Everyone wants to be able to do their bit to make our planet a better place for future generations and recycling is one way everyone can get involved. I am pleased we can now recycle an increased range of plastics in our Green Bins and would encourage everyone out there to start recycling those pots, tubs and trays.

This is the start of the rollout of a better waste strategy that encourages people to reduce, reuse and recycle more and look at ways to make this easier. Look out for more initiatives later in the year but in the meantime let’s get washing and recycling those pots, tubs and trays.
