Dewsbury East candidate, Keith Malleson was out talking to mums in Chickenley this weekend.
One lady told me that she feels that they have been forgotten about, especially the children's play area.
The play area is run down with very little for the children to play on, another mum told me.
I found two pieces of broken play equipment where there is just a spike sticking out of the ground. Both the mums I spoke to said they have been like that for a long time.
It's a disgrace that the three councillors who are supposed to be serving this community haven't prioritised the repair of these two items.
