Kirklees Councillor for Holme Valley North Ward
Donna was born in Huddersfield and brought up in the Colne Valley where she attended local primary and junior schools and Colne Valley high school. After leaving school, Donna trained in the catering and tourism industry.
Donna became involved in politics when she saw her parents' post office threatened with closure, she began to campaign alongside prospective parliamentary candidate at the time Jason McCartney.
Donna is married to Chris with one grown-up son and 5 grandchildren.
